Pengaruh Limbah Laundry Terhadap Struktur Vegetatif Tanaman Tomat (Solanum lycopersicum)

Abstract

Current conditions, many small laundry industries cause an abundance of waste from the industry. Abundant laundry waste will affect various aspects of plant growth such as morphological and anatomical aspects. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of laundry waste on the morphological and anatomical structure of tomato plants (Solanum lycopersicum). The type of research is quantitative with a Complete Randomized Block Design (RAKL). Morphological observations were carried out by measuring plant height, stem diameter, number of leaflets, leaf area, and root length. Anatomical observations were carried out by measuring the width of the stomata, the width of the stomatal gap, and calculating the stomatal index. The analysis used the ANOVA statistical test to determine the real differences in each treatment, then continued with the BNt test at a level of 5%. The results showed that laundry waste had a negative effect on the growth of tomato plants. The effect is shown in morphological and anatomical parameters including plant height, number of leaflets, leaflet color, and the width of the tomato stomata distance.
